Terms of service
These Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) apply to all transactions made with Decor Home Furnishings. By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these T&C’s. If you need clarification on anything within these T&C’s, please contact us via info@decor-home.co.uk before placing an order
Billing Address: We can only accept card payments if the bank card has been issued in the UK. We will have to cancel your order if the order is placed outside of the United Kingdom.
Payment
The price you pay is the price displayed on our system at the time we place your order. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
All credit card transactions are taken in the UK and our transaction currency is in UK Pounds Sterling.

Deposits
All deposits are non refundable. The only time a deposit will be refunded is if the manufacturer cancels the order or availability of the product before it gets to us. In this case, the deposit will be refunded within 14 days.
Deliveries
Please check the delivery costs here
Where possible we will deliver goods seven days a week, including bank holidays - typically between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00.
We may use third party couriers and if so, we are not held accountable for any delays they may incur.
We will inform you of the approximate length of time until delivery at the point of purchase. Once the delivery timescale has been provided and the order is confirmed as available for delivery, we will do our best to make all arrangements for the most convenient date of delivery and will notify you to confirm it. Where possible, we will deliver on the first mutually agreeable timeslot.
Manufacturers may make some goods to order and the delivery time reflects the time it takes us to deliver it to your home. We aim to meet delivery times provided in the listings. However, these times might be slightly extended during busy periods.
Please note that your delivery service may be subject to change on rare occasions. If this occurs, you will be contacted before delivery to be informed of any changes in advance.
Once you agree to accept the delivery and for any reason you are not present at the delivery address, we reserve the right to apply a re-delivery charge.
We reserve the right to cancel the order when we cannot contact the buyer to discuss the delivery minus any costs.
We aim to give a minimum 48-hour notice before delivery by sending you an email and/or text notification with a delivery time slot. Please be aware the time slot might change due to traffic or any other factors. Our delivery team will endeavour to inform you about any changes which may occur.
We reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address isn't secure, such as a communal postal address or PO box. If this affects an order you place, we'll notify you as soon as possible.
The buyer's responsibility is to make easy access for delivery, i.e. leave appropriate instructions if the property is gated or has a concierge. Our deliveries are to the ground floor only unless previously agreed to by us.
You can request additional services if you wish to deliver it to your property, if you live in the basement flat or on the 1st floor and above (multi-storey building). This may be subject to an additional charge (basement flat, 1 st , 2nd ,3rd and 4th floor) to be confirmed at the time of purchase.
Goods are not delivered past the fourth floor unless a suitable and accessible lift is present, within which the items will fit inside it. This will be decided by the delivery team at the time of delivery.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse delivery where a suitable parking space is unavailable or access to the building is restricted.
After delivery, Decor Home Furnishings cannot accept any responsibility for any damages caused by the buyer when moving the items.
The delivery team cannot move or take away any of the buyers’ personal belongings to arrange space unless previously agreed.
The hard furniture is brand new and packed in its original packaging. It is delivered flat packed for self-assembly. Please be aware that depending on the manufacturer, parts may not be labelled.
Items typically only include pictorial assembly instructions. There are no written instructions. If you wish to see an example of a manual before purchasing, please get in touch with us and we will show you an example.
Deliveries are to the door only. The only exception is in the case of a SOFA delivery where you have priorly paid for an assembly service.
DHF does not currently offer an assembly service for flat-pack items and advise customers to hire a professional if they are unsure. Damages incurred by incorrectly unpacking or assembling purchased items, invalidates the return policy.
Sofa Delivery & Assembly
Apart from the above general deliveries information, the below section applies for sofas delivery.
Delivery and assembly services are chargeable and will be confirmed at the time of purchase. Sofa assembly includes placement in the room and installation.
It is customer's responsibility to dispose of all packaging.
If the room is above the ground floor, we must be notified at the time of purchase. This fee is to be paid in advance.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items will fit through the delivery route, that the route is clear for all obstructions and that the items will fit in the required space. If access involves stairs, tight spaces, or restricted entry, this must be disclosed at the time of purchase. If delivery is attempted and items do not fit and delivery is not completed a charge of £149 will be deducted from the total amount of items to be returned.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds after delivery for items purchased in-store unless the item is faulty or not as described. If you wish to discuss the possibility of a return, please contact the customer service office immediately by sending an email to info@decor-home.co.uk
If a customer cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled delivery, or is unavailable on the day, delivery fees may still apply.
Any damage must be reported to the delivery team at the time of delivery. Our delivery team will ask you to inspect the items and sign a delivery form; photos may be taken for record-keeping. Claims reported after the delivery team has left will not be accepted.
Online Sofa Orders & Returns
This section applies to online purchases only.
All orders are supplied directly from the supplier. Customers have 14 days from delivery to request a return under distance selling regulations.
A restocking fee applies on returns to cover handling and repacking costs.
Customers are responsible for arranging the return at their own expense. Delivery fees are non-refundable.
Items must be returned in their original condition. Any damage or excessive use may result in deductions.
Sofa Damage & Missing Items
Missing small items (feet, decorative cushions, etc.) will be sent as soon as possible.
Accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear is not covered under our guarantee.
If there is an issue with your sofa, we will evaluate the issue and attempt to fix the issue. If it cannot be fixed, we will offer you a replacement or a refund.
Sofa Complaints
Complaints must include your name, address, delivery date, and details of the item. Proof of delivery may be requested.
We provide a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship. Faults caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear are not covered.
If a fault occurs, we will assess the issue and arrange repair where possible. If a repair is not possible, a replacement of refund may be offered.
Complaints made more than 6 months after delivery require an independent inspection at the customer’s cost. Genuine manufacturing faults will be reimbursed; non-manufacturing issues will not.
Sofa Guarantee
Our guarantee covers manufacturing defects in the sofa frame and frame springs for 12 months from the delivery date.
Damage caused by sitting on sofa arms, especially those with adjustable mechanisms, is not covered.
Colour changes due to sunlight are not covered under the guarantee.
Returns and Cancellations
We do not accept returns or offer refunds after delivery for items purchased in-store unless the item is faulty or not as described. Should you wish to return the goods, you must contact us immediately via email to discuss your options.
For online purchases, the customer has 14 days from delivery to request a return under distance selling regulations. A restocking fee applies on returns to cover handling and repacking costs. Customers are responsible for arranging the return at their own expense. Delivery fees are non-refundable. Items must be returned in their original condition. Any damage or excessive use may result in deductions. It is the buyer's responsibility to take good care of the items. The buyer is responsible for the furniture once delivery has taken place and the buyer is liable for any losses or damages.
Buyers must return goods in original packaging and in a resaleable condition. It is the buyer's responsibility to return the items to our warehouse in good condition - failure to take reasonable care may result in not receiving a full refund. Refunds will be issued once the goods have been inspected for any damages and missing pieces. Refunds will be processed to the buyers a/c via bank transfer and usually within 14 days from the day after the items are returned to us.
If once you have received the items and you notice any defect, you must contact us immediately. We will discuss your options including repair or replacement. The onus is on the customer to prove that any damage was incurred before they received the product. In the event that a repair to the product cannot be made, we will either replace the faulty part or give you a full refund excluding any delivery charges.
Again, the product must be returned to Decor Home Furnishings before a refund can be given. Note: If damages are incurred during self assembly Decor Home Furnishings will NOT issue a refund nor replace any parts.
If DHF has stored your purchases for you due to you needing a delayed delivery, you will NOT be allowed to cancel or return the items under any circumstances.
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNLESS THE GOODS ARE PACKAGED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND ARE IN A RE-SALABLE CONDITION
Cancellations
Cancellations are possible depending on the stage of the manufacturing and delivery process. If you wish to cancel your order there will be a cancellation fee to cover our costs, the amount of which will be relative to the stage of the order. A refund will be processed back to the original payment method, minus the cancellation fee. Included in this fee will be the transaction fee we incur by the bank for taking a card payment.
EX-Display Items
Any items sold as Ex-Display are deemed "Final Sale" and as such, are not returnable or refundable as they are sold as seen.
Missing items
- Upon delivery: Should an item be missing or appear not to be delivered then we request that you notify us immediately.
- Upon assembly: Should a part appear missing from an item, please report the missing item and provide as much information as you can. Part name, number, photo etc
- On both the above instances replacement goods will be dispatched as soon as possible. Items partially or fully assembled cannot be returned for a full refund. Refunds will be adjusted for already assembled parts that need to be replaced.
- After Delivery Has Taken Place: Reporting Transit Damages Or Wrongly Delivered Items
It is not advised to book assembly service until your goods have been received in full and inspected. The buyer should note any damage to the pieces before assembly as we are not legally responsible for any damage caused during or after assembly. Proceeding with assembly using faulty parts is acceptance of the item. Where applicable, our delivery team may open a package upon delivery to make sure no damage has occurred during the transit process i.e. glass or mirrored doors. If any items are incorrect, damaged or faulty, you should notify us as soon as reasonably practical after the delivery by phone or email. We aim to replace the damaged item(s) as soon as possible however, this may take up to eight weeks in some instances. If replacement of smaller parts is required, we will post the goods by a third party courier. We always try to provide a replacement as quickly as possible however the time may vary due to some manufacturers being based abroad, therefor we cannot take responsibility for delays. We will always keep the customer informed.
Product Dimension Tolerance
Tolerance is the acceptable variation from a specified dimension. Items of furniture will generally have an amount of tolerance. Quite often, this is because the item may have been handmade; on other occasions, it may be because it needs to settle in the customers home. Also please be aware due to electronic devices/screens having different colour settings, colours may differ from your screen to the product itself. Whilst we rarely have an issue with the wrong size unit supplied, by accepting our terms and conditions, you agree to the following tolerance levels:
Cabinet Furniture
Some cabinet furniture is hand-finished; therefore, there will always be a tolerance to
adhere to:
· Width - 0.5cm
· Length - 0.5cm
· Height - 0.5cm
Corner Sofa Orientation
When placing an order for a corner sofa, please ensure you double-check the orientation required. While some of our corner sofas and sofa beds are universal, others are specifically made as either Left-Hand Facing (LHF) or Right-Hand Facing (RHF).
If you believe you’ve selected the wrong orientation, you must contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to amend your order if it hasn’t yet entered production or dispatch.
However, Decor Home Furnishings cannot be held responsible for orders placed in the incorrect orientation. We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for this reason. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct orientation is chosen at the time of ordering.

Miscellaneous Provisions
The laws in England shall govern the contract between us therefor any dispute between us shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract. Our products are chosen on the basis that the buyer will use them for domestic use. If you plan to use them for business purposes, please ensure that the appropriate insurance covers you. Where you decide to use the products in the course of a business, we exclude (to the fullest extent permitted by law) those warranties and conditions relating to fitness for a particular purpose. Concerning business users, we do not accept liability for the use of goods for business purposes, nor do we accept liability for loss of use of the item nor any loss over and above the cost of the item in the event of a claim for breach of warranty or condition. All of our furniture are suitable for general domestic use only. For commercial use, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for safety standards or compliance unless you have requested, in writing, furniture for use in that environment. You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related product order to any third party. If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part. In this case, the validity or enforceability of the other sections of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.

Disclaimer and Liability
Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these T&Cs; conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Decor Home Furnishings or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
We will not be responsible for any delay or failure in delivering the products ordered by you or damage to the products when an event beyond our control causes this.
